Story:

The person in the picture is my father. He is in Bangladesh. The picture is very important to me. He sent it to me for a document. I miss my father. I have been away from home for 4 years now and I never see him. He is like a superhero to me. I feel him like a tree that always gives me shade. Before the journey, he used to tell me a phrase that I will always remember, until I die. He used to say: “Life is a risk!”. Life is a risk, you always have to take that risk to get ahead, so I am never afraid of things going wrong or right in my life. That’s why I am always brave. When I have problems, even here in Italy, I tell my father and he makes me feel that it’s not a problem. When I talk to him, a problem becomes a beautiful thing. He is always positive. He has also been out of Bangladesh, for three or four years… He was in Dubai, so he knows what it means to be away from your family. 

With my father, since I was 6-7 years old, I never managed to take a photo of him. I don’t have any picture with my father. I wanted to go to Bangladesh, but I couldn’t go, I don’t know why. Everything was ready, but then I didn’t go.

My dad in this photo is young, despite the white beard, and the white hair.
