Home is a space, a material condition, a feeling, a building, some people or some memories. It is an architectural, decorative or aesthetic world that symbolizes something more than the four walls around you: it symbolizes a place or a historical era. A home can be something that is abandoned violently, intentionally or unintentionally, after years of planning or overnight. It can also be something that is created from scratch in the new place, discovered there by chance or unexpectedly, something that is more homey than the place of birth. Finally, home can be something that can be carried, something that travels along with people, in their suitcases or in their pockets, when the tangible space that can take this place doesn’t exist (anymore?).
