Migration and refugeeship are often treated as synonymous with being on route. Displacement, flee, travel, big decision, movement… The path taken by a person who -in one way or another- leaves his/her place of origin is not only the geographical landmarks that compose a route in space. It is also the material conditions that allowed or prevented him/her from carrying out this journey — it is the sum up of all the ways, visible and invisible, that this route changes, leaving its imprints on the person who traverses it.
