Story:

I lost my left eye because I was attacked by three guys, and it looks like it works, but it really doesn’t. I only have one eye. I remember how, in two short weeks, my brain learned how to live with one eye. It was strange because with binocular vision, your body works perfectly. If you lose this ability, your body doesn’t know where things are really located. It was a demand from my body to open up other ways of perceiving and learn how to make connections.

The other thing is I started paying attention to my body. I was socialised as a boy, and boys really strongly detach from their bodies, and losing my eye helped me to understand that I have a body and that I have to care for it and pay attention to how it works.
