Story:
It’s a bullet, a reminder of the dark matter, the killing, and the fear—the speed of what was happening. It was a scary thing, knowing that at any moment, this bullet could have killed someone I loved.
I keep it with me to remind myself of where I was and where I am going. Every time I look at it, I feel how far I’ve moved and how far I’ve gotten away from that time. It represents a very old past that has already been done.
I found it on the street after clashes, and I left 11 years ago to find a better life.
