Story:

I don’t have anything from Syria; I left young, with nothing to hold onto. But this feather became a symbol for me—a connection to places I can’t reach and a sense of security.

I once collected feathers, and this one came from a friend’s house. Her aunt used to collect feathers, and in some way, it connects me to a stranger I’ve never met.

I left Syria because of the war. Returning briefly, I felt torn, unable to stay or fully leave. Eventually, I left for good; nothing there aligned with me anymore.

For 11 years, this simple feather has been a symbol of luck, strength, and connection.
