Story:

The first time I could express myself or think in a different way was through theater. I entered theater at 16 years old through a person who later became my teacher, Hasan Hasan. With him, I explored everything—even myself.

The first time I went on stage, it was with him. In this photo, we are all gathered around him. This magazine talks about that play and shows a picture of us together in the Yarmouk camp of the Palestinian refugees back then in Syria.

Hasan was killed in detention. I feel like my art journey started with him, and I feel heartbroken because he’s no longer alive.
