I’m Jenny, it’s my nickname, because my real name is Babita, but since I was little my grandmother wanted to call me Jenny because she saw a film in which there was a little girl who looked like me, and since then they called me Jenny and everyone calls me that. When someone says Babita, they say who is Babita? . This is a map of Mauritius. It is located in the middle where Africa and Madagascar end, in the middle of the sea. I come from the centre, but my city is not written there, which is called Curepipe. Previously, sugar cane was what brought money into the country, sugar was sent around the world. I go to Mauritius every 3 years. I used to go there every year but now with my children no longer here I don’t go. And then, since my father is no longer here I no longer want to go.
