Story:

Scarf woven by Zeynep Orhon’s grandmother, a present inhabitant of Istanbul, who had origins from a village outside lake Kerkini, near Serres. From there, her family went as an “exchangeable” to Turkey in 1924, after the Treaty of Lausanne. It got passed down to Zeynep from her mother, and she offered it to Stefanos Ganotis, who consequently lent it to “Outcast Europe”.
