Story:

I left my home five years ago, driven by curiosity and a search for belonging. Even in my own country, I felt like a stranger and longed to explore different lands, people, and ways of life.

Among my possessions is a small stone owl, a symbol of wisdom and protection. It was gifted to me by a dear friend who passed away. Made from tiger eye stone, it connects me to him and reminds me to stay present, chase knowledge, and embrace life’s mysteries.

This owl is a connection between the world of the dead and the living, a reminder to stay an observer and live fully and be prepared for death as I am continuing my journey of finding my home.
